Sue Findley, SR/WA, has 30 years of experience in the right of way field performing rights acquisition, property management, due diligence, title searches, title analysis, and document preparation for electrical and natural gas utilities and pipeline and fiber optic right-of-way projects. Sue began her career with CenterPoint Energy (then known as Houston Lighting & Power Company) in the Surveying & Mapping Division as a Legal Writer and Title Analyst. She was a contract Senior Right of Way Agent at CenterPoint Energy where she managed over 2400 acres of fee and easement electric transmission rights of way and countless miles of electric distribution and natural gas distribution and transmission pipelines from 1999 until joining the management team at Andeb Land Services on September 1, 2007.

Sue joined IRWA in 1995 and earned her Senior designation in 2000. Chapter 8 has benefited greatly from Sue’s active participation in International Right of Way Association activities. She served on several committees before becoming Chapter 8’s Education Chair in 2000. Sue also assists the Region 2 Vice-Chair with the compilation of the Regional Education Calendar and assists with the coordination of classes offered at the Region 2 Fall Educational Seminar held annually at Texas A&M University. She is also on the International Asset Management Committee. Sue was named 2005 Professional of the Year for Gulf States Chapter 8, 2006 Region 2 Professional of the Year and one of the five Frank C. Balfour Award Finalists for 2006.
